- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Previously used Langham-Carter as my Accountants. Realised after enquiries elsewhere that they have been overcharging me by a substantial amount for some time. After moving elsewhere my charges for the same work is one fifth of what Langham-Carter were charging! Additionally I have learned that I was not previously advised by them of changes in the way that National Insurance Contributions were made (now yearly in-line with ones tax return as opposed to a monthly debit). As a consequence of them not ticking a box when submitting my return (and not querying the subject with me beforehand), I have lost a number of years contributions to my State Pension which cannot be paid by back-dating payments to the Inland Revenue. I will therefore not receive full pension benefits upon retirement unless I now work for longer in order to make-up for this shortfall. Altogether a shabby service which they have grossly overcharged for and for obvious reasons I cannot possibly recommend to anyone.By riptoff, February 12, 2019
